A woman was arrested in Esch on Friday after she was found in possession of several bags of heroin.
The drugs were found on the woman's person after she was admitted to hospital, and suspicions that she could be in possession of further amounts led to a search of her home. There, a sniffer dog unearthed a large quantity of heroin and a total of 182.50 grams were seized.
The arrest followed five drug-related arrests made in the Gare district of Luxembourg over a two-week period.
