The Grand Ducal Police have called on the help of the Luxembourg population after a 24-year-old woman went missing on Wednesday evening.
The police have launched a full-scale investigation after the woman in question, named as Patricia Andreia Da Silva Portilho, left her apartment in Buschrodt at around 21:00 on the evening of Wednesday 27 April 2016 and never returned.
The police reported that Patricia had been wearing slippers, although would also have brought a pair of boots with her which she is likely to be wearing. She is also thought to be wearing a pair of jeans, a black jumper and a dark jacket.
The area has already been searched by the canine units of the emergency services and a police helicopter, whilst the police academy has also become involved.
Members of the public with any information relating to the possible wherabouts and details that could be linked to the disappearance of Patricia are asked to call the emergency line 113.
