Police patrols from Esch/Alzette were called out to a restaurant on rue d'Audun in the early hours of Saturday morning after a fight broke out between several individuals.

Upon the arrival of police officers on the scene, a number of people who had been violently arguing attempted to flee. The police officers left their cars, noticing a person walking towards the roundabout carrying a gun in their hand. The police called out for her to drop the weapon, which she would not do, resulting in her being immobilised by the officers and her weapon seized. It was later found that the weapon in question was a stun gun.

The police reported that several of the individuals involved displayed aggressive behaviour, shouting loudly and spitting at officials.

It later transpired that the fight broke out when four people entered the premises and began to rampage the place, accosting customers. This resulted in a scuffle during which an individual pulled out a gun. The four finally left the premises and were picked up by police. Another person could not be tracked at the scene but was later found at hospital, after visiting the emergency room for treatment for a laceration.
