A traffic accident along the N2 ended in tragedy on Monday evening.

The motorist in question had been travelling along the route between Trintange and Bous when he came off the right side of the road and crashed straight into a tree.

An ambulance from Luxembourg as well as emergency services from Remich and Contern / Waldbredimus were called in, but the man unfortunately died from his injuries at the scene.
