A 59-year-old man from Hagondange in France was killed on Thursday morning following an accident at a construction site in Rumelange.
The accident occurred whilst the man in question was maneuvring a crane. However, no further details of how the incident came about have been reported. The Hagondange resident died later at the scene. The public prosecutor ordered forensics to the site to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
This is the 5th work-related death to have occurred in 2016, three of which happened in April alone.
