In the wake of the recent floods which have swept the country, the Government has decided to organise a solidarity initiative to meet the basic expenses of people who have been affected and whose economic situation is fragile.

The amount of aid to be given will be determined according to the extent and nature of the damage, the individual's financial situation and the number of dependents.

The aid may only be granted against presentation of paid invoices for necessary repairs and acquisitions , for all premises affected and all categories of damage reported.

Applications should be filled out via a form which can be downloaded from the website of the Ministry of Family, Integration and the Greater Region and submitted before 31 July 2016. For more information, contact 247 865 23 or nadia.mouhid@fm.etat.lu.
