On Wednesday, Luxembourg's Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel, delivered an official message on the occasion of the Grand Duchy's national day.
In his message, PM Bettel addressed all those who live in Luxembourg and come from afar and emphasised that the day allows for a time of reflection that can be thought-provoking about ourselves, about our situation, about our past and our future.
He stated "Luxembourg is a country that has experienced the most difficult times and most enjoyable moments. Historically, we have known and we have recognised the benefits of an open country and a multilingual and multicultural society."
