Following last Friday's devastating floods in the east of the Grand Duchy, a resut of which many towns were advised not to drink tap water without boiling it first, and were being provided with bottled water from collection pints in the villages, the last villages to be affected have now been given the all-clear that their tap water is now safe to consume.
The last affected villages were Medernach, Savelborn and Freckeisen, that is to say, all in the Ernz Valley. distribution of bottled water has now ceased.
