Luxembourg non-profit organisation Stëmm vun der Strooss is organising an excursion to the Remerschen Lake, combined with a free concert offered by the Big Band Memory, to take place on Thursday 27 July 2017.

The organisation is offering a jam-packed summer programme for 100 of society’s most vulnerable people next Thursday, with the municipality of Schengen opening the doors of the Biodiversum museum in the morning before inviting those people to spend an afternoon in the sun with a picnic by the Remerschen lake.

For the sports-aficionados among them, a bike ride will be organised along the banks of the Moselle and anyone interested in history and culture will have the chance to discover the Roman villa of Borg in Germany.

The day will end with a meal offered by Nathalie Chaumont of the Restaurant Le Chalet and a large free concert offered by the 23 musicians of Big Band Memory.

The concert is open to the general public.
