Over the past few months, the Ville de Luxembourg (VdL) has set up a Dynamic Signage Platform (PAD) to distribute electronic information via wifi or mobile networks on digital screens at bus stops throughout the city.
At this stage, about 180 screens out of a total of 230 have already been installed on the platforms and are currently in the test phase, displaying the bus departures in real time.
By the start of the academic year, all screens will be operational and will indicate, as well as real-time departures, temporary information messages, such as network disturbances or line changes.
This project is carried out by the Bus Department, in collaboration with the Information and Communication Technology Department of the VdL.
