The Grand Ducal Police has announced that between Wednesday 9 August and Friday 11 August, a number of bicycles have been reported stolen around the Grand Duchy; those reported include the following:

- a Scott Aspelt 950 Moutainbike, red-black in colour from the cycle room of a family house on rue de la Toison d'Or in Luxembourg-Merl.

- on Friday 11 August, an off-road bike was stolen at the bicycle depot at the main railway station in Luxembourg-gare. The theif severed the security lock with which the bicycle was secured and then escaped with the bicycle. The saddle, which was fastened with another lock, was left behind by the thief.

- Also on Friday, a Spezilized Turbo e-bike was stolen in front of the entrance of the hospital in Kirchberg.

- Between Saturday 12 August and Sunday 13 August, a children's bicycle (red colour) was stolen from the front yard of a house on avenue de la Libération in Schifflange.

- in the same period, a grey Ecke bicycle was stolen at the corner of Grand-Rue / Rue du Marché aux Herbes in Luxembourg-ville.

- on Sunday 13 August, an orange/red mountain bicycle parked in front of a house was stolen from the doorstep in the rue de la Commerce in Esch-sur-Alzette.

- on Sunday 13 August, a grey city bike was stolen from a cellar on a building on the Grand Rue in Luxembourg city.

- Also on Sunday 13 August, an orange/black KTM Ultra bicycle was stolen from the train station in Mamer.
