Chaired by the Minister of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy, the Economic Committee of Luxembourg today released its findings on the situation of the labour market for the month of July 2015.

Results show that in July of this year, the number of applications increased by two, with a total of 11 companies having submitted a grant request for partial unemployment in order to benefit from the provisions of this measure in the month of September 2015.

The Fund for Employment is expecting an expenditure of €786,000 for the month of September 2015 if all the companies take full advantage of the working schemes granted - a decrease of €14,000 with regards to expectations for the month of August 2015.
