On 15 and 16 February 2016, Prime Minister of Cape Verde, José Maria Neves, will be received in the Grand Duchy by several senior Luxembourg politicians.

The Prime Minister will first meet with his Luxembourg counterpart, Xavier Bettel, at the Hôtel de Bourgogne, before joining Luxembourg Minister of Cooperation and Humanitarian Action, Romain Schneider, at the Hôtel Saint Augustin.

Talks will focus on bilateral relations and diversification, current affairs in development cooperation as well as on relations between the European Union and Cape Verde. International politics will also be on the agenda.

José Maria Neves is also due to meet with President of the Chamber of Deputies, Mars Di Bartolomeo, as well as the caboverdien community. The African country was the focus of a recent RIFF cultural event held at Rotondes earlier this month.
