On 24 October 2016 the Minister for Cooperation and Humanitarian Action, Romain Schneider, pays a working visit to Pristina to attend the Partnership Committee between Luxembourg and the Republic of Kosovo.
He will sign the new multi-year agreement with Hajredin Kuçi, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, for the period 2017-2020 and which will have an estimated budget of €30 million.
This fourth bilateral agreement will provide, like its predecessor, interventions in the sectors of health and professional education. In addition, there will be technical assistance in the process of European integration of the Republic of Kosovo, which aspires eventually to join the European Union, as well as specific technical assistance to the Ministry of Finance. Another innovation is assistance in strengthening of civil society of the Republic of Kosovo.
