The government of Luxembourg has appointed its new heads of diplomatic missions abroad, subject to approval from the receiving states. The new posts will be taken up from September this year.

Mr Jean Graff, Ambassador in Berlin;
Mr. Carlo Krieger, Ambassador to Brasilia;
Mrs Janine Finck, Ambassador in Copenhagen;
Mrs Nicole Bintner, Ambassador in Dakar;
Mr. Jean-Marc Hoscheit, Ambassador at The Hague;
Mr. Jean Olinger, Ambassador in London;
Madame Michèle Pranchere, ambassador in Madrid;
Madame Martine Schommer, ambassador in Paris;
Mr. Gérard Philipps, Ambassador in Prague;
Mr Paul Dühr, Ambassador in Rome;
Mr. Marc Ungeheuer, Ambassador in Vienna.

New permanent representatives for Luxembourg have also been appointed, as follows: 

Mr Patrick Engelberg, Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the PSC in Brussels;
Mr. Pierre-Louis Lorenz, Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the United Nations in Geneva;
Mr Stephan Muller, Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also made the following appointments:

Mr. Gaston Stronck, Secretary General;
Mr. Olivier Maes, Director of Political Affairs;
Mrs Michèle Eisenbarth, Director of European Affairs and International Economic Relations;
Mr. Manuel Tonnar, Director of Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Action;
Mr. Christian Biever, Director of Consular Affairs and International Cultural Relations;
Mr Ronald Dofing, coordinator on immigration matters, non-resident ambassador to Bulgaria.
