Luxair Tours are now offering a range of short city stays for 2015-16 with its Metropolis package.

The range of city hotels available has been expanded, with fares for many short stay reduced by up to €60. Destinations include Barcelona, Vienna, Berlin and Venice, which are now available at €60 less than they cost last year.

The company has also extended its available guided turs, visits and cultural events during its city breaks, including excursions, boat tours and concerts. Visitors to Venice may take a tour of the city whilst being serenaded on a gondola, whilst football enthusiasts may explore the legendary FC Barcelona stadium on a guided tour.

Holiday-makers in Copenhagen will have the choice of several guided tours around the city, with the opportunity to avoid the toursitic areas and instead get a more authentic feel for the area. Visitors to London can experience the dizzying 310 metre heights of the Shard, whilst FC Arsenal supporters can go behind the scenes at the Emirates stadium of their favourite club.

A number of new hotels have been added to the Luxair portfolio, including the five-star Hôtel Sacher in Vienna, built by son of the creator of the famous Sacher-Torte, and Ameron Hôtel Speicherstadt in Hambourg, the first of its kind in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the historical quarter.

Metropolis hotels can be booked by themselves or as part of a package deal, combining flight and hotel. Metropolis packages are comprised of 2 nights in a hotel with breakfast included, a return Luxair flight and travel cover, as well as transport between the airport and hotel.
