LuxairTours has included a total of five new destinations for the next summer season in its LuxairTours Vakanz Summer 2017 brochure that has just been published.
The new destinations include:
- Bari - just above the heel of the Italian boot: The airport of Bari in Puglia has been serviced by Luxair for several years. As of next summer, LuxairTours will offer very attractive package tours in this beautiful region of southern Italy, with a selection of eight hotels from 3.5 to 5 stars, including a hotel with accommodation in a "trulli", emblematic rural houses with a conical roof dating from the sixteenth century;
- Biarritz in the French Basque Country: a sunny destination on the French Atlantic coast, with sleepy seaside resorts with long traditions, fishing villages with stunning charm, huge sandy beaches, pines as far as the eye can see ... the assets of the French Basque Country are numerous. This region shaped by waves is also a popular destination for windsurfers and surfers. In and around Biarritz, LuxairTours offers 5 hotels and aparthotels, both luxurious and convivial, all very welcoming and well located;
- Alicante on the Spanish Costa Blanca: the reputation of the seaside resorts of Benidorm and Calpe is well-known. The beautiful white sandy beaches that gave the name to the Costa Blanca surely count for something. Good news for lovers of the sun: from next summer, they will have the choice between 16 LuxairTours addresses located on this famous Spanish coastline. Among them, the new "Magic Natura Animal, Waterpark & Polynesian Lodge Resort" in Benidorm, a splendid exotic-style complex with its own animal park and a large water park;
- Ischia Island in the Gulf of Naples: "the green island" in the Gulf of Naples, is especially appreciated for its natural hot springs. Also, the four hotels that LuxairTours has selected all feature their own thermal pool and offer a wide range of health and wellness treatments.
- Hurghada, a diving paradise on the Red Sea: diving enthusiasts will have something to celebrate: starting in the summer of 2017, the wonders of the underwater world of this popular Egyptian destination will once again be accessible. LuxairTours proposes a selection of 14 select addresses, classified 4 and 5 stars, including the "Dana Beach Resort" with swimming pools assembled in the form of lagoon extended over 9,000 m², and the "Jungle Aquapark Resort" with no less than 32 pools.
LuxairTours packages no longer automatically include insurance cover; Travel Assistance (baggage, sickness and repatriation) insurance has been specially designed to suit the different products and meet the needs of travelers. This insurance can be purchased at the same time as the reservation at the price of €1.50 per day per person, while the price of cancellation insurance is 4% of the total package.
Similarly, free parking at the airport in Luxembourg is no longer included in the fixed price. It can now be reserved at the same time as the LuxairTours package at the preferential rate of €6/day at levels -3 and -4 in the underground car parks A and B of the terminal. Surface car parks (E, F) can be used when these dedicated areas are full.
