On the occasion of the release of the fifth issue, diariesof has brought a taste of Portugal to Luxembourg.

The event, which took place at the Centre Culturel Portugais – Camões I.P., included a live concert with the duo '2 Guitarras' who enchanted the public with the Portuguese guitar and a photographic exhibition which portrayed the Portuguese architecture – metropolitan and natural landscapes. With more than 150 people attending the event, the Centre Culturel was crowded with an enthusiastic public, which confirms that this kind of gathering, now the forth diariesof's event, is becoming the meeting point of travel enthusiasts in Luxembourg.

Diariesof Portugal features 14 travel stories written by travellers of all types. In this edition, backpackers tell about the experience of trekking along the Vicentina Coast, one of the most spectacular hikes in Europe. Round-the-world cyclists share the experience of cycling the Douro Valley and motorbike travellers, Jorge and Anabela themselves, narrate the adventure of riding the country from north to south. The magazine also gives account of unique escapades, such as dolphin watching in the wild and horseback riding on the beach. Plenty of reasons to visit Portugal and to read this travel magazine.

As usual the magazine diariesof also features one humanitarian organisation, which this time is the Red Nose Operation. The team of diariesof visited a hospital in Lisbon where the Dr Clowns of this charity organisation care for hospitalised children's happiness.

The issue diariesof Portugal is now on sale at several bookshops (Ernster, Libo, Alinéa, Diderich, Chapter 1, The Book Loft), in selected kiosks as well as in Auchan.

With a circulation of 1,500 copies per issue, this is the fifth publication of the 164-page magazine which made its appearance through crowdfunding in 2014, when it attracted more than 150 backers. To date, diariesof has over 40 contributors of different nationalities. They are experienced travellers, writers and photographers who share their stories with the reader, as well as their passion for travel and the world. Together they have written about more than 60 different countries so far.
