United By sarl, a Luxembourg company specialising in sports and hobby development, announced Monday the acquisition of a 127 hectare plot by the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps motor-racing circuit in Belgium.

United By has designed a comprehensive programme for the site to establish Francorchamps as a sought-after tourist destination, featuring a golf academy developed in partnership with the Golf de Spa, with 9 technical holes, a state-of-the-art simulator and classrooms. There will also be a synthetic ski park made up of two 500m and 600m tracks, an adventure park created by EcoPark Adventure, and a corss-country mountain bike training track spanning 8km.

Additional features will be a farmhouse serving as a clubhouse to host sporting activities, a hundred-unit holiday village specially adapted to accommodate cricuit users as well as other sports such as golf and mountain biking, and an Old Timer centre devoted to maintaining and restoring old cars with specialised services and trades.

A training centre will also be provided for professional pilots in partnership with the RACB, featuring simulators, classrooms, a karting track and a automotive control track. A panoramic building will also be placed at the foot of the Raidillon to offer meeting rooms and a restaurant.
