This coming week-end, Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 July, the Optimists Cricket Club will be hosting the Trident Trust 6-a-side Cricket Competition at the cricket ground in Walferdange (1 rue de l'Alzette).
As well as plenty of cricket being played (both days from 10:00), there will be a host of side attractions, including a bouncy castle, face-painting and a cricket clinic for children. For adults, there will be a throwing competition, raffle, BQ, drinks and cricket.
The event is being organised in a safe, social and friendly environment where everyone is welcome to watch the cricket and enjoy the festivities.
