Over the weekend of 15 to 16 August 2015, Curling Club Luxembourg participated in the Summercupturnier in Zoetermeer, Holland.

The team were among 11 of 16 participating national teams who had been without ice since the end of April, comprising their training at Kockelscheuer and putting the team in a difficult position. In addition, the Club's Lead, Frank Yuenlue, and Second, Ian Munn, were still considerable newcomers to such a high level.

The first match was against the Russian junior national team and despite excellent resistance over the last two ends, the game was ultimately the Russians' with a final score of 4-7. The Luxembourgish team decided to experiment with various changes to tactic and technique, which unfortunately were not immediately rewarded and instead met three further defeats, these being 3-7 against Campina (Turnhout), the Belgian Vice-Champions; 3-8 against ICT Belgium, the third Belgian team; and 5-14 against the Dutch Women's National Team.

However, all was not to be lost and in the last game the Luxembourgish team made a comeback with excellent performances from Alex Benoy (Third and Vice-skip) and Marc Hansen (Fourth and Skip), bringing the team a victory after a previous defeat against Belgian Vice Champion Team Campina with 5-4. The Curling Club Luxembourg saved itself from last place, settling into 15th position instead, and cited its hope for future games.
