The Luxembourg Cutling Union held a press conference on Tuesday at the presises of Roche Bobois in Strassen to announce details of their participation in the European Curling Championships 2015 Group C from 12 - 17 October in Champéry, Switzerland.

The Luxembopurg team for 2015 was announced as follows:

-Fourth and Skip: Marc HANSEN,
-Third: Kyle EDWARDS,
-Second: Ian MUNN,
-Lead and Vice-Skip: Alex BENOY
-Alternate: Philippe HUSI

This Team has trained in fitness (in running and in cross-training) over the summer to be ready for Champéry and participated in three high-ranked tournaments: Zoetermeer (Mid-August), Basle (4th week in September) and Cologne (beginning of October).

SCHEDULE:

Monday 12 Oct: 16.30 LUX – ICELAND
Tuesday 13 Oct: 8.00 LUX – SLOVENIA; 20.00 LUX – SERBIA
Wednesday 14 Oct: 12.00 LUX – FRANCE; 20.00 LUX - ANDORRA
Thursday 15 Oct: 8.00 LUX – SLOVAKIA; 16.00; LUX - IRELAND; 20.00 LUX - BULGARIA
Friday 16 Oct: 12.00 LUX - BELARUS; 20.00 LUX – ROMANIA
Saturday 17 Oct: play-offs for the best 4 teams and finals for the 2 teams going up to Group B to be played end of November in Eijsberg in Denmark.

Last year, Luxembourg scoredf victories over both Serbia and Bulgaria.
