The National Team Championship in Curling was held at the ice-rink at Kockelscheuer over the week-end, with Team 1, led by Marco Etienne, defeating Team 3, led by Dan Kelly, in the final.

The Championship was played in a Round-Robin format, each with a maximum of 8 ends, with the Finals played on Sunday 31 January 2016.

After the Round-Robin games, the standings were as follows:

1. Team Kelly: 5 Points, 14 Ends, 25-14 Stones (Dan Kelly, Gregor Graham, Candice Richards, Barry Foulds)

2. Team Etienne: 4 Points, 12 Ends, 21-21 Stones (Marco Etienne, Yannick Hansen, Yves Sieradzki, Moritz Ruhstaller)

3. Team Hansen: 3 Points, 10 Ends, 22-26 Stones (Marc Hansen, Francesco Grassi, Ian Munn, Fabio Veltri)

4. Team Benoy: 0 Points, 11 Ends, 20-27 Stones (Alex Benoy, Kyle Edwards, Karen Wauters, Susi Benoy)

The Gold Final saw Team Etienne defeat Team Kelly 8-5. In the Bronze Final, Team Hansen finished 3rd by defeating Team Benoy 7-4.

The Luxembourg Curling Federation looks to be in good shape for the future as two of the winning team are aged under 20 years: Moritz Ruhstaller (15 years) and Yannick Hansen (19 years) who got the experience of playing alongside to established players in their team.
