From 2 July to 25 July 2015, shopping centre La Belle Etoile will display an exhibition honouring fourteen Luxembourgish cyclists who have won one or more stages at the Tour de France.

The public will get the chance to discover Luxembourg's history in the cycling competition, from François Faber who won the Tour in 1909 after leading for 13 days to Andy Schleck's first victory in 2010, as well as winners Nicolas Frantz and Charly Gaul.

The exhibition was the initiative of the Musée du Cycle de Weyler (Arlon), in collaboration with the Luxembourgish Ministry of Sports. The exhibition will also showcase the younger generation of professional cyclists such as Laurent Didier, Jempy Drucker, Ben Gastaueur and Bob Jungels who offer new potential to the country's cycling feats after the victory of Andy Schleck during the queen stage of the Tour in 2011.

An unusual contest will reportedly also be open to visitors. Hundreds of cyclists' cans have been deposited into a display cabinet, and the public will be invited to guess the number of cans for the chance to win a Belle Etoile gift card.

The exhibition is on display in the new gallery of Belle Etoile shopping centre.
