The Tour de France finished its 3-week ride on Sunday on the Champs Elysses in Paris after the cyclists covered a total of 3,360.3 km.

Luxembourg's two representatives both took part riding for TREK Factory Racing, with 22 year-old Bob Jungels finishing 27th in the overall general classification with a time of 86 hours 19 mins 35 secs, 1 hour 33 mins 21 secs behind the overall winner, Christopher Froome of England, riding for Team Sky. He also finished 5th in the White Jersey (Young Rider) classification for riders aged under 25.

General Manager Luca Guercilena stated “I think Bob [Jungels] showed really good capacity to be strong in the third week; he was top ten three times, and also in the front on Alpe d’Huez. He finally is showing his level and coming into his promise."

Luxembourg's other representative, Laurent Didier, withdrew from the tour after stage 16 after being in 161st position overall.

TREK Factory Racing came 11th overall out of 22 teams.
