On Saturday 15 October 2016, the ATC LuxStrength powerlifting Team travelled to Altena in Germany to participate in the World Powerlifting Championships 2016; each athlete had been given a specific programme made by ATC on XPS (a world leading sports platform) 6 weeks prior and leading up to the tournament.

The ATC Team participated in all 3 disciplines; Squat, Deadlift and Bench-press.

Thomas Holter broke a world record on the ‘deadlift’ by lifting 203kg. Lauren Crisp won her category and lifted 127.5 kg in her deadlift. A total of 5 athletes out of 6 ended up first in their class. Jonathan Donaldino won the overall best relative lifter award (most kg lifted) - and the ATC team received the award for being the most lively and dedicated team - with special mention and recognition to Mark Notschaele for his coaching ethics, experience and motivation!

ATC is a specialised gym, open 24 hours/day, 7 days/week; based in Wandhaff, Luxembourg, the Advanced Training Centre promotes the Art & Science of uncompromised Strength & Conditioning Training.
