A new Lacrosse club has been created in Luxembourg, a sport becoming increasingly popular throughout Europe and the world.
Lacrosse is a contact sport that is played on a grass field between two teams. The players use metal Lacrosse sticks - with a net at the end - to throw and catch a ball, and score goals.
On Sunday 4 December 2016, nine founding members created the Luxembourg Lacrosse Club a.s.b.l., and decided to play under the team name "Blacksmiths Luxembourg" in the future.
