Among 184 short track racers who took part in last weekend’s 10th Munich Open at the Munich Olympicapark in Germany, Luxembourg’s racers were inspired by the sunshine to post personal records in the races in which they took part.
Cecilia Backström ranked sixth overall after coming third in the 1000 metre race with a personal best of 1:41:553, and fifth in the 500 metres with another personal best of 49:491.
Anna Maria Giannetto ranked 23rd overall, coming 21st in the 333 metre race with a personal best of 49.103 and 23rd in the 500 metres with a personal best of 1:16:329.
Max Backström was ranked 10th overall, coming 8th in the 1000 metre race, with a personal best of 1:33:582, and 11th in the 500 metre race.
