On Saturday, Walferdange women's rugby team recorded a 14-12 victory over previously undefeated Kituro in the Belgian League, Division 2, at Schaerbeek.
Walferdange are now in 3rd position out of 8 teams with 27 points, having won 5 out of their first 8 games; they lost 2 and drew also with Kituro in a orevious match. Kituro lead the division on 33 points. Walferdange also has the best points difference in the league with +195.
The win over Kituro followed a surprise 10-7 away to Mons last week.
The league now enters its winter break, with the next match scheduled for 30 January 2016 at 15:00, away to Hamme.
