First in in their division, Luxembourg stay unbeaten after their win against the Danish national team on Saturday in Odense (14-19), having already won their first encounter against Denmark at home (13-5).

Facing a Danish team determined to avoid relegation, the Red Lions managed to stay ahead of the opposition during the entire game. Despite having camped in the Danish half throughout the first 40 minutes of the game, the score remained mitigated at half time (half time score 3-6).

Shortly after half time, Luxembourg managed to score two consecutive tries by Scott Browne (53 mins) and Stuart Logier (56 mins). However, Luxembourg's ill-discipline gave the Danes the opportunity to closely chase the score, with a penalty (60 mins) followed by a try (72 mins). A last-minute penalty from Luxembourg's Scott Browne clinched the win for the Roud Léiwen.

Luxembourg face Slovenia at the Stade Josy Barthel in two weeks' time (Saturday 14 May) in a decisive game, where a win would be synonymous with a second consecutive promotion in the European Nations Cup. The Luxembourg Rugby Federation (FLR) hopes to gather a record number of supporters for this home game, to support and encourage the national team.

Luxembourgish rugby is witnessing a real success these past two years with a determined and committed national team ready to defend their colours.
