On Saturday 28 May 2016, the Walferdange rugby club hosted their annual beach rugby tournament.
This year the RCL touch team participated in the touch section of the tournament for the second year in a row. The team, consisting of 6 players, played against 4 other teams from France.
Touch is more focused on speed, skill and strategy rather than physical contact, enabling mixed teams to play together.
After playing numerous matches under the heat of this weekend's sun, the touch team proved to be strong and eventually secured first place, with a record of 5 wins and 1 draw.
