Organised by the Luxembourg Swimming Federation (FLNS), the 18th annual EuroMeet swimming championships is being held this coming week-end from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 January 2016 at the Coque in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

The championship comprises 34 events with A and B finals for both, with 120+ club teams from 25 countries participating (see below), representing 900+ swimmers in total. Last year, no less than four meet records were set.

The event offers more than €22,000 in prize money (with bonuses for World records (€3k), European records (€2k) and Meet records (€300)) with 2,500 medals awarded. It also is recognised as a Qualifying Event for the Olympic Games Rio 2016.

The event has attracted a number of top international swimmers, including Britain's Benjamin Proud and Hannah Miley. For Luxembourg, top swimmers will take part, including Raphael Stacchiotti, Laurent Carnol and Julie Meynen.

Timings: Friday from 16:00; Saturday from 08:30 (heats) and from 17:00 (finals); Sunday from 08:30 (heats) and from 16:00 (finals).
