The Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Natation et de Sauvetage (FLNS) has found success at the International Swimfestival- Race Days held on 4 and 5 March 2017 in Dortmund.

The FLNS team has won a total of 39 medals and ranked five out of 40 teams in the Dortmund race days.

The team of 18 Luxembourg swimmers has brought home 10 gold, 16 silver and 13 bronze medals as well as having achieved 33 personal best times.

With four gold, one silver and one bronze medal as well as six best times, Jacques Schmitz won the most trophies in the team. Among the women, Sarah Rolko won four times, with two gold, one silver and 1 bronze and five new personal bests.

For the open final of the 50 metres women's backstroke, three FLNS swimmers qualified: Sarah Rolko with a time of 30.26 seconds in the solo sprint; Jacqueline Banky with 30.79 seconds came fourth place; Sarah Black in seventh place with 31.65 seconds.

In the men's category, Ricky Rolko completed the 50 metres breast stroke in 31.67 seconds, coming in fourth place, followed closely by Yann Van den Bosch (31.86) in fifth place.

Laura Vanderschrick once again completed the 100 and 200 metres with times of 1:08.67 minutes and 2:27.04 respectively, as she had done in the European Youth Festival in Györ.
