Four members of the Luxemburg Swimming Association will compete at the International Swim Festival in Norway this weekend.
Raphaël Stacchiotti and Laurent Carnol, both from Ettelbrück, will test their current form with an eye on competitions later in the year. For Mats Kemp and Yann van den Bossche, the focus is on the qualification for the European Youth Olympic Festival in Hungary this July.
For the two junior athletes, the competition will provide motivational thrust, as the field will include Olympic swimmer Laurent Carnol over all three stretches of the breast stroke.
Raphaël Stacchiotti will compete in five individual stages, the 100 metre, 200 metre free-style, 200 metre butterfly, 200 backstroke and 200 metre.
