INREV, the European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles, has appointed Catherine Martougin, partner at law firm Baker McKenzie Luxembourg, to its management board during the association's annual conference held in Berlin on 4 April 2017.

The association is the Europe’s leading platform for sharing knowledge on the non-listed real estate industry. Its goal is to improve transparency, professionalism and best practices across the sector, making the asset class more accessible and attractive to investors.

"Martougin is a partner in the Funds & Asset Management team of Baker & McKenzie in Luxembourg where she specialises in real estate, private equity, debt and infrastructure funds; as well as other financial institutions involved in asset management.  She has more than 17 years’ experience in business law."

Catherine will fulfil her role alongside the current members of the management board.

Marieke van Kamp was announced as INREV’s new Chairman at the association’s Annual Conference in Berlin.
