Saturday 20 May 2017 marked the occasion of the third "clinic" of the Luxembourg Swimming Federation (FLNS).

For one day, young talents born between the years 2004 to 2006 were given training in the national training centre the Coque.

A total of 42 swimmers from seven Luxembourg clubs were trained in various workshops on the topics of general strengthening, stretching and the technical features of the back strokes.

In addition to the training of the athletes, the focus was on imparting specialist skills and competence needed for a club trainer. Following the principle "Train the Trainers ", ten club trainers were given expert knowledge and practical exercises for the training company from the hands of the Technical Director, Christian Hansmann, and the youth national trainer, Mitsch Rolko.

In addition to offering these "clinics", the FLNS supports their clubs with bi-weekly regional training sessions in Diekirch and Esch-sur-Alzette, where clinical goals are further trained and evaluated with a small final examination.
