Luxembourg's national swimming federation, the FLNS, is bringing a team of 6 swimmers to Györ in Hungary, to participate in the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) from 24 to 30 July.

While Luxembourg's elite swimmer are fighting for personal best times and records at the World Championships in Budapest, six junior athletes from the Luxembourg Swimming Federation will be taking part in Gyor.

Remi Fabiani, Mats Kemp, Yann Van Den Bossche, Laura Vanderschrick (all Swimming Luxembourg), Emma Peters (CNDu) and Bob Sauber (SCR) are part of the 25-man delegation of the Comité Olympique et Sportif Luxembourgeois.

In a total of 20 individual events, the swimmers at the Aqua Sport Centre will participate for best times and medals. On the first day of the competition (Monday 24 July), all FLNS athletes are in action. Bob Sauber starts over 200 metres freestyle, Remi Fabiani and Laura Vanderschrick over 100 metres backstroke, Mats Kemp and Yann Van Den Bossche attack the 100 metres breaststroke, and Emma Peters will be in the 400 metres butterfly.

The preliminaries start at 09:00, the semifinals and finals at 17:00.
