On Saturday, Luxembourg's Gilles Muller played in two semi-finals at the BB&T Atlanta Open at the Atlantic Station in Georgia, USA, winning one and losing one.

In the singles semi-final, the 32 year-old 7th seed (ranked #52 in the world) was up against 5th seed Marcos Baghdatis (Cyprus, ranked #47 in the world), but lost in three sets, 7-6, 3-6, 6-7. Baghdatis will meet top seed John Isner (USA), who has won this tournament for the past two years, in the final.

Meanwhile, in the doubles, Gilles Muller and playing partner Colin Fleming (UK) won through to the final defeating Eric Butorac (USA) and Artem Sitak (NZ), the 3rd seeds, 6-3, 5-7, 10-3, in the semi final. Standing between them and the title are the doubles pairing of Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan (USA, top seeds) who defeated Christopher Eubanks (USA) and Donald Young (USA), 6-2, 6-4, in the other semi-final.
