At this week's Moselle Open tennis championships taking place in Metz, Luxembourg's Gilles Muller lost in straight sets to France's Gilles Simon on Friday, 6-4, 6-4.

30 year-old Simon is a two-time winner of the tournament (2010 and 2013) and is ranked #10 on the ATP tour. Gilles Simon, seeded #2 in the tournament, played a solid game and was able to take advantage of Muller's mistimed efforts to mix things up, to reach the semi-finals.

It was a good match especially against a player like Gilles Muller,” said Simon. “I feel good, I'm moving well and I’m happy with the way I'm playing from the baseline.”
