Dominic Thiem, the 23 year-old Austrian sensation and ATP no. 10 eliminated Luxembourg’s Gilles Muller in the quarter-finals of the Moselle Open tennis championships being played at Metz this week.

Top seeded Dominic, playing in his first Moselle Open, will take on 4th seeded Frenchman Gilles Simon, a two-time winner of the tournament (2010 and 2013) in the first semi-final. The other semi-fianl will be between the Belgian David Goffin, the 2nd seed and winner in 2014, and the 3rd seed, Frenchman Lucas Pouille.
