Following his shock win against the 3rd seed, Spain's Rafael Nadal, on Monday, Luxembourg's Gilles Muller was up against the #7 seed, Croatia's Marin Cilic in the quarter-finals of the Men's Singles at Wimbledon on Wednesday afternoon.

Gilles Muller got the break of serve he needed in the first set and took it comfortably, 6-3. The powerful Croat, though, fought back and took the next two sets, 7-6, 7-5. With the pressure mouning on Muller, he managed to break Cilic in the 11th game of the 4th set and served out 7-5.

At two sets all it was Cilic whose nerves were the calmest in the fifth set and raced to a 5-0 lead before winning the last set 6-1.

Gilles Muller's Wimbledon advventure may be over but his achievnts will not be forgotten.
