In the fourth quarter of 2016, POST Telecom PSF has received ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (ISO 27001) certification for its information security management system (ISMS), attesting to the high level of maturity of its management processes.

Security and ISO 27001 certification – a recognised standard, and a guarantee of data protection and security – are at the core of the concerns of many business managers. The audit carried out by Bureau Veritas, an internationally accredited certifying body, validates the information security management system (ISMS) of POST Telecom PSF and, more broadly, of POST Telecom.

The ISMS of POST Telecom PSF applies to the management and operations of the infrastructure of clients, through the secure management environment, in order to provide onsite managed and Cloud managed services, as well as support services inherent in these provisions.

ISO 27001 certification guarantees a high level of standardization of the management processes; it also promises professional clients solid expertise, and unwavering support in the security of their managed solutions for POST Telecom’s service contracts.

The awarding of this certification falls in line with POST Luxembourg Group’s strategic objectives in compliance with the data security international standards. It notably allows POST Telecom to be positioned as a key ICT player with major companies, and to prove to the market the maturity of its management processes, as well as the level of professionalism of its teams in the management of critical projects.

Although this certification is not an end in itself, it assures the optimal management of the governance of security within our organisation", said André Jacques, Head of POST Telecom’s Delivery Department. "Bolstered by its experts and close relationship with its clients, POST Telecom continues to improve its procedures and processes in order to increase security and guarantee the reliability of the solutions and services proposed to them.”
