IMS Luxembourg’s initiative, Part&Act will be holding the annual Speed Meeting, where organisations can network and benefit from the interactive exchange between employees - offering training, and sharing their skills and expertise with others, as well as learning from them – on Thursday 2 July from 15:30 at the Cercle Cité in Luxembourg-Centre.
The Speed Meeting is a unique and pleasant way to share skills (IT, facilities, legal information, advice on communication etc.), goods (office equipment, leasing equipment etc.), or services according to areas of expertise. The event is specifically tailored to develop knowledge and win-win exchanges in Luxembourg.
The format is rather quite simple. A person submits any needs, demands and offers they believe the organisation or company they’re speaking to can help them with, and the conversation stems from that. The purpose is to satisfy a reccurring requirement from companies that wish to support one or more organisations. These organisations often have limited means and accept company offers in return of knowledge, training, exposure etc.
Each participant is required to complete the online form beforehand, detailing and describing what it is they would like to offer and/or gain from the meeting. Punctuality is also key, as to maintain the ‘flow’ of the exercise or ‘game’. The goal is for each participant of each organisation to attempt to connect and seal as many deals as possible within the two hours.
