The second edition of Speed Meeting Part&Act, an event which allows Luxembourgish associations and IMS member companies to exchange skills, goods or services in an informal setting, will take place Thursday 2 July 2015 at Cercle Cité.

The event was brought back by business exchange network Inspiring More Sustainability (IMS) after its 2014 predecessor was deemed a success, with 70 partnerships signed in less than two hours between the 27 companies and 37 IMS member associations in attendance. The Speed Meeting provides a platform for the mutual exchange of knowledge and services, allowing for "significant encounters" and "innovative contact" according to participants from last year's edition.

In a similar vein to the style of Speed Dating, each participant will be given a few minutes in which to present both what they require from, and what they can offer to, the organisation in question, before analysing those of their interlocutor in order to identify potential opportunities for a mutually beneficial partnership.

This concept of a win-win stock exchange originated in the Netherlands in 2000, where more than thirty of these events are organised a year. The idea then spread to Germany in 2006; Belgium in 2008; and now Luxembourg since 2014.

Companies and associations had to register online in advance in order to participate in this knowledge network, which will begin from 16.00 tomorrow afternoon.
