Yesterday afternoon, 32 Luxembourg association and 20 corporate members of Inspiring More Sustainability (IMS) participated in the second edition of IMS's Speed Meeting Part&Act at Cercle Cité, to engage in a mutual exchange of skills and services.

The event was officially launched by the Echevin de la Ville du Luxembourg, Patrick Goldschmidt, and was designed to encourage reciprocity between participating associations and the exchanging of goods (furniture, computers, office supplies), skills (IT, legal, communication) or services subject to the participant's field of expertise.

In a similar format to the Speed Dating concept, participants were given between six and eight minutes to present what they wished to received from, and offer to, the corresponding company, with the aim being to create a win-win exchange.

Each participating association or company was required to state at least one offer and one demand before the event took place, which later served as the basis for the Speed exchanges. IMS declared the event was a big success, with 82 partnership documents signed in nearly two hours - twelve more than were signed at the 2014 Speed Meeting.

The idea behind the Meeting is to encourage collaboration between companies and associations, to allow the former to invest in a cause and develop, and the latter to develop their network and access new information channels.
