In the midst of an increasing presence of Chinese related companies, including banks, funds and corporations, in the Grand Duchy, KPMG Luxembourg has organised a conference for Tuesday 13 October 2015 to examine the impact and potential of Sino-Luxembourgish business relations.

The 'Luxembourg Meets China' conference will open to the provocative question of 'Is the Dragon Still Roaring?', before a panel of business experts from both countries examine China's latest economic trends, explain how to conduct business with China, and share their experiences and insights into China's outbound investment, to give participants an overview of the issues at stake for Luxembourg companies. Speakers will include:

Annie Wu Suk-Ching - Member of the 'Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference' (CPPCC) and first member of the Chinese national committee to the 'World Trade Centres Association' (WTC). Annie Wu Suk-Ching is close to Chinese leaders and the elite, and a fervent defender of the Chinese strategy 'Go Out' towards Luxembourg and Europe.

Tang Min - An Advisor to the Chinese State Council, Tang Min is one of the most influential 'think tank' personalities of the Chinese economy, regularly advising on its development. He was named amongst the Chinese individuals who has most significantly contributed to China.

Vaughn Barber - In his capacity as the new Chairman of KPMG's Global China Practice (GCP), Vaughn Barber works closely with local Chinese entities at the 60 KPMG offices in China. He supports Chinese companies in expanding their investments in Europe and Luxembourg.

The conference will be held from 13:30 to 19:00 on 13 October, at the KPMG Building on 39, Avenue JF Kennedy. To register and view the full programme for the event, click here
