On Tuesday 24 November 2015, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy will be holding a conference on working conditions, which will provide an opportunity for the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) to present the first results of the Sixth European survey on EU working conditions.

The conference, taking place at Cercle Cité, has been organised under the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union in collaboration with Eurofound.

The 6th European Survey on working conditions within the European Union covers topics related to quality of work and provides information on a variety of subjects suchs as exposure to physical and psychosocial risk, duration and organisation of working time, work organisation and the balance between work and family life.

The presentation of these results will be followed by a discussion on future challenges of working conditions and public policies which allow for better working conditions and jobs of quality.
