The Luxembourg Internet Days, which has now become a major industry gathering in the Greater Region, will once again take place at the Chamber of Commerce on 7 & 8 December 2015.
Keynote speeches, roundtables and business cases presentations will discuss and develop on the following three focused topics that enliven the ICT community.

FinTech: on 7 December from 13:30

The FinTech session is organised in collaboration with Nicolas MACKEL, CEO of Luxembourg for Finance (LFF), who is “confident that the insight offered by Nicolas CARY, co-founder of Blockchain, and all the other speakers will be a great value to the audience in getting a better understanding of the opportunities that lie in the digitalisation of financial services”.

Cloud: on 8 December from 09:30

Xavier BETTEL, Prime Minister and Minister for Communications and Media will open this session. Then, among other expert speakers, Rafael LAGUNA, CEO of Open-Xchange, will “share piercing insight on how the past year of Tech has impacted the business of IT, as well as shaped individual users to expect more”.

Security: on 8 December from 14:00

With more and more cyber attacks everyday, the online data security has become a major concern. Data have become what gold used to be. “In Europe, NSA and Snowden are pushing back to cautious behaviours but at least it efficiently points to issues to be solved”, states our Keynote Dr. Prof. Reinhard POSCH, CIO for the Federal Government of Austria who, with other experts, will endeavour to respond to these new problematic.

Then during the round-tables, they will discuss the ability of the industry to tackle the privacy, security and data sovereignty challenges in a fast evolving society. Detailed agenda available at the event website, www.luxembourg-internet-days.com.
