The Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) is organising its 25th annual Global Distribution Conference 2016 on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 September 2016 at the European Convention Centre in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

Designed as a unique platform to allow participants from Europe, the United States and Asia to share knowledge and exchange experiences, this conference enjoys a secure place in the agenda of many fund industry professionals. ALFI expects more than 700 delegates and speakers from throughout the world and up to 30 exhibitors showcasing their products and solutions serving the asset management industry.

Highlights of the comprehensive and richly varied conference programme focusing on markets, investor and technology include:

The conference opens on Tuesday 20 September at 07:45 with registration & breakfast, with Luxembourg's Minister for Finance, Pierre Gramegna, delivering the Welcome Address at 08:50, followed by Viviane Reding, Former Vice-President of the European Commission, Member of the European Parliament, addressing the topic "Political challenges facing the global fund distribution landscape". On Wednesday 21 September, registration & breakfast starts at 08:00
