On Friday 30 June 2017, Luxembourg will welcome an exclusive event to be broadcast live across 191 countries, representing not less than 8,000+ articles and 7+billion media impressions and the opportunity to reach 150,000+ participants.  

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has proclaimed that International Asteroid Day will be observed globally on 30 June every year. The decision was made during the 71 st session of the UNGA on 6 December 2017 after a proposal by the Association of Space Explorers was endorsed by the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) during its 59th session in June.

The Luxembourg event is being organised at the National Museum of Natural History in Luxembourg city by Farvest.
